Collab is a chat-based communication tool exclusively for coAmplifi users. With Collab, you can initiate one-on-one conversations (Hallway) or group chats (Watercooler) with other users within the platform. This tool provides a fast and easy way to communicate with your team, similar to a typical chat application. Whether you need to send a quick message or have a more in-depth discussion, Collab offers a convenient solution for all your communication needs.
To start a one-on-one conversation:
Starting a hallway conversation in Collab is straightforward. First, navigate to the "Hallway" section of the platform. If the recipient you want to message is not already listed, simply click the "Add" (+) button. Enter the recipient's name, and you're ready to start your conversation. With its intuitive interface, Hallway makes it easy to connect and communicate with your team.
To send to multiple recipients:
Setting up a group chat in Watercooler is just as simple. First, navigate to the "Watercooler" section of the platform. Then, click the "Add" (+) button. A pop-up window will appear, prompting you to enter the name and description of the group chat you wish to create. After you've filled out the necessary information, the group chat is ready to use. With Watercooler, you can now efficiently communicate with your team all in one chat box.
To close the “hallway” and “watercooler”:
- Click the three dots in the upper right.
- Then, select "close chatroom".
