Project management is the practice of planning, organizing, and overseeing the successful completion of a specific project or set of projects. This involves coordinating the efforts of each team member to achieve specific goals within a defined timeline.

The main objective of project management in coAmplifi is to ensure that a project is completed on time, and to the required standard of quality. This involves a number of key activities, such as defining the project scope, identifying the necessary resources, developing a project plan, and managing risks and issues that may arise. 🌱

How to add a Project?

To add a project, go to My Office > Projects and click on the plan tab. Click on “+project” to add a project and complete the required information

Overview:

Plan:

  • Info - shows the details of what the project is all about including the team members involved in that project.

  • Deliverables - shows what the project team is working towards. Deliverables are used to measure the success of a project. If the deliverables are completed on time, then the project is considered successful. Therefore, it is important for project managers to ensure that deliverables are clearly defined, measurable, and achievable and that the project team is focused on delivering them throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Milestones - these are defined during the planning phase of a project and are often included in the project schedule or timeline. They can be defined as specific events, such as completing deliverables, obtaining necessary approvals, or reaching a significant point in the project schedule. Milestones are used to track the progress of a project and to provide a clear indication of whether the project is on schedule or not.

  • Meeting - this will allow the team to schedule a meeting specifically for the project. To learn more about how to schedule meetings, go to How to add a meeting article or click here

💡 Notes

  • It is important for project managers to ensure that deliverables are clearly defined, measurable, and achievable and that the project team is focused on delivering them throughout the project lifecycle.
